Flower care
How to keep a bouquet fresh longer
1. Once you receive the bouquet, you don’t need to remove all the packaging. You can leave it in the packaging for 2 days, and then remove only the film, leaving the folders in tissue paper.
2. Cut the flowers into 2 centimeters, and place them in a large vase. Roses and hydrangea love a lot of water, so add water so that the flowers are more than half their length in the water. *Remove any lower leaves that fall into the water, as this can cause rotting and reduce the shelf life of the flowers. It is recommended to change the water every two days, and be sure to renew the cut. Other types of flowers do not need much water, so half a vase will be enough.
3. Place the bouquet away from sunlight, batteries, and drafts.
4. Special care for certain types of flowers.
- Peonies and pear-shaped roses:
They need to be cleaned of petals that are a little rotting, as they are very thin and sensitive.
- Tulips: place them in a small amount of water, but do not remove the wrapping. If they start to bend, wrap them in paper quite tightly and leave them like that for a few hours, they will straighten out.
Flower care plays a very important role in preserving them and doesn't take much time 🤍
